What equipment do you use?
I own four Yamaha pianos, the P-120, P-155, CP-300, and the beautiful C7 Semi Concert Grand Piano!
When did you start playing piano?
When I was 8 years old. My instruction was mostly done by my dear childhood piano teacher, Mrs. Kaminsky. Then I went off to the conservatory to study composition and piano when I was 18.
Where did you go to school?
The Hartt School of Music in Hartford, CT. My professor of piano was the David Westfall.
May I request a song?
Please do. Although I cannot promise I will play your request, your voice matters for the future selections on my YouTube channel.
What kind of keyboard should I buy?
If you are looking for a keyboard, choose one that feels real, and sounds real to you. Go to multiple stores to test different options, and spend at least 500-1000 USD for a nice model!
How do you recommend I improve my piano abilities?
I believe the main thing is believing in yourself, and playing pieces which truly challenge your hands. If you choose pieces you would LOVE to learn that are out of your reach, and you give it your all, I promise it will give back more than practicing scales for hours on end.
Can I send gifts and fanmail to you?
This is currently no longer an option. Perhaps one day I will get a P.O. Box again!
